What do you get when you cross mischief-loving lawn ornaments with all-natural treats approved by Mother Earth herself? The answer: Gnome Cones - A pun-infused explosion of adorable deliciousness. In 2017, Alex Sparks and I set out to make our ridiculous idea for an all-natural, gnome-shaped snow cone company a reality.

Environment building & interior design

One of the coolest parts of bringing Gnome Cones to life was not just making the product, but building the environments in which they would be enjoyed. From gnome-ifying the first stand in Argyle with wonky blue shingles to buying a 9-foot tall gnome for the Denton store and crafting wooden mushroom stools by hand, Alex and I worked hard to make Gnome Cones an otherworldly experience. We created the menu boards, picnic tables, wall murals, stump stools, merch displays, snowbank seats, and more.

An idea like Gnome Cones begs for a line of fun merch, and we were happy to oblige. Using our list of 100+ silly gnome puns as fuel, we’ve made tons of shirts, pins, stickers, custom gnome beanies, and more over the years!
