In 2017, Alex Sparks and I set out to make our ridiculous idea for an all-natural, gnome-shaped snow cone company a reality.

One of the coolest parts of bringing Gnome Cones to life was not just making the product, but building the environments in which they would be enjoyed. From gnome-ifying the first stand in Argyle with wonky blue shingles to buying a 9-foot tall gnome for the Denton store and crafting wooden mushroom stools by hand, Alex and I worked hard to make Gnome Cones an otherworldly experience. We created the menu boards, picnic tables, wall murals, stump stools, merch displays, snowbank seats, and more.
